Esthetics + Photography combined Questions: Do you offer both skincare and photography? Yes — Brittany Davis Collective unites my two specialties: elevated skin health and natural light + lifestyle photography. Beautiful skin and beautiful photos go hand-in-hand. Do I need a facial before a photo session? It’s optional, but highly recommended. Healthy, hydrated skin photographs better, makeup sits smoother, and your glow is unmatched. Can I book a facial and branding session on the same day? Yes — for best results, book a light facial with no exfoliation the day before photos. For more advanced treatments, book 5–7 days prior.

Photography related questions: How long until I receive my photos? Turnaround times vary by session type, but most galleries are delivered within 1–3 weeks. Do you retouch images? I perform natural retouching to enhance your features while keeping your skin and texture realistic and professional. I will edit any acne or scars upon request within reason. Can you recommend locations? Yes — Outside of my studio I have a curated list of indoor studios and outdoor locations in the Augusta area. What happens if the weather is bad for an outdoor session? We simply reschedule to the next available date that works for you.

Esthetics questions: What facial should I book if I’m new? If you’re unsure, book the 60-Minute Facial. During your skin analysis, I’ll customize the treatment to exactly what your skin needs that day. What’s the difference between a 30-minute and 60-minute facial? A 30-minute facial focuses on targeted results and one main concern. A 60-minute facial includes deeper treatment work, advanced modalities, massage, and a full corrective protocol. What’s the difference between microdermabrasion and dermaplaning? Microdermabrasion smooths texture and clears congestion. Dermaplaning removes dead skin and peach fuzz for a brighter, glass-like finish. Is dermaplaning safe? Absolutely. When performed with sterile Circadia blades and proper technique, it removes dead skin and peach fuzz without causing thick or dark regrowth. Do you work with sensitive skin? Yes. I specialize in sensitive, reactive, or inflamed skin and use non-irritating Circadia products that rebuild and protect the skin barrier. Can I get a facial if I'm pregnant? Yes-Circadia has plenty of protocols for expecting mothers and their safety Do I need to stop using retinol or acids before a facial? Yes. Discontinue retinol and exfoliating acids at least 3–5 days before your appointment to avoid irritation. How often should I get a facial? Most clients benefit from treatments every 4–6 weeks to keep the skin clear, balanced, and glowing. Do you offer extractions? Yes — extractions are included when appropriate for your skin type and comfort level. Do facials hurt? No. My treatments are designed to be effective, gentle, and deeply relaxing. What products do you use? I exclusively use Circadia, a professional-grade clinical line focused on the skin’s circadian rhythms, barrier repair, and long-term skin health. Should I come to my appointment without makeup? It’s helpful but not required — every facial includes a thorough double cleanse. Will my hair get oily at all during massage? More than likely yes as i prefer to work through the ears and scalp to give you the most benefit. I tell my clients to plan your facial on a hair wash day!
